he’s still logging us too in his FRAMES OF MISINFORMATION, EXTREMISM, & CONSPIRACISM: Web Forums and Social-Media Discussions Monthly Summaries as of May 2023. Richard Lee Rogers, please say hello!!
Others have noted that the pool of eligible recruits is shrinking — young people are more obese, have been on therapeutic drugs (disqualifying), are in poor shape, and have histories of using recreational drugs/alcohol and bad behavior.
I mean yeah this is pretty much it I’d wager. I wanted to be a pilot so badly as a kid that I used to beg my parents to drive me out to the small regional airport we have in town just so I could chance seeing something take off/land. Imagine my amusement in HS when they had the recruiters in the lunch room one day, one of them saw my NASA jacket and went “wanna fly a supersonic jet?? ” to which I earnestly replied “absolutely” only for them to go “aw shucks…you’re a type 1 diabetic AND you have poor eyesight?? Sorry kid you can’t fly planes” lmao
In retrospect this is a good thing because I absolutely would’ve joined the Air Force just to get into the air and would’ve realized like 2 days into boot camp that “holy shit I could just play microsoft flight sim for 4,000 hours and beg a commercial airline to take me up”
literal weather balloon and the sensors weren’t even on lmao
“freight truck of spy equipment”
Haha to be fair that’s pretty much all of them in their own ways - except Gale, who falls in love with you instantly basically provided you’re a wizard and - in my experience - don’t outright condemn a goblin to death.
Shadowheart, after saving the Druid Camp, came up to me in camp and went “wow I never thought I’d care about refugees” and I was like “huh?? what? you haven’t cared about the druids or the refugees at all throughout this entire quest. I’ve literally only seen Lae’zal get pissed at me for wasting time and not finding the creche” but I love her so…I can change her
honestly understandable. Astarion has only ever made it into my party ONCE in my handful of playthroughs throughout early access and release.
Didn’t really want to use him during my current playthrough (why tf am I still in Act 1 I have like 100 hours logged) so when I picked him up I was like “just go to camp bro”
Tell me why he has the nerve to complain about Karlach and whatnot in camp after I let him do the succ the one time. Bro shut the hell up you are just hanging out in camp keeping watch on my valuables (and Scratch) while me & my REAL comrades (Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae’zal) go gallivanting around. Vampire twink begone, I have Invisibility prepared on Gale and also have a ring that lets Lae’zal cast invisibility - I need you for NOTHING not even thievery. Oh there’s something nearby I can’t grab? Githyanki Jump and/or Mage Hand. what use are you, you vampire twink, besides doing the succ on enemies. (don’t ask me how many times my party has failed to hit someone with an arrow)
Anyways Astarion disliked that.
ily and your posts othello don’t leave
point the haters my way I will take up arms for you
Wow…this is the first time I’m hearing about this. Can you recommend some more reading if I’m interested in learning more??
me when someone shouts “hey abc aren’t you half-white get over here!!”
Moonlighter is also a decent one - its more akin to the roguelike part of Cult, where you play as a shopkeeper for adventurers and have to delve into a dungeon to find the stuff you sell. It’s on sale rn for $3 on Steam so I’d definitely check it out if that sounds up your alley!
If you like the base-building/resource management aspect of it, definitely check out something like Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress’ Steam release (both are on Steam and neither are terribly intensive to a point where you’d be unable to play on like the presumable Intel HD Graphics you’re working with - Rimworld’s min requirements are literally like Windows XP and 2gb RAM. Dwarf Fortress is arguably where you’d maybe run into problems but even then, I think you’d really have to have a ton of dwarves/items/etc on a large map)
The grandaddy of the fantasy genre, Tolkein’s Lord of the Rings
George MacDonald/HG Wells/William Morris erasure!!!
thank god. honestly am ready for them to move away from the BOTW Hyrule
shhh shhh we don’t need them ruining Hammerfell and the only cool untouched parts of TES lore quite yet
oh cool there’s a reliable source on the seas for it already?
Bethesda, you fools why would I pay $69.99 for Fallout 4 in space when I can get it for free 24 hours after it releases. I will set my 1060 on fire but I will do it at no upfront cost
my dream is to live in like a 1.5br/1.5ba house (preferably with some sort of solar/screened porch) in the middle of a wooded area with frequent rainfall - but still relatively close to like a decently sized city/town - and do so comfortably with some sort of third-shift/wfh job that isn’t too demanding.
this is unobtainable in Amerikkka, may it die soon, for like at least three different reasons so one can only pray life is indeed shorter rather than longer.
Hopefully this gets fixed comrade
