Q4os with Trinity desktop really needs little RAM and runs fast even on old devices. The desktop is a bit old-fashioned, but ok. You may also try lighter browsers, perhaps Palemoon.

But 4GB is actually not that little, almost all distros can run well with it, especially rather slim ones like Debian lxqt. maybe it’s really due to the hdd.

Ich habe auch letztens tatsächlich das erste Fax meines Lebens verschickt (und dafür eigens über Fritzbox die Fax-Funktion eingerichtet): und zwar an eine Arztpraxis, die partout nicht erreichbar war. Am Telefon geht dort wohl generell niemand dran und andere Kontaktoptionen wie Mail bieten sie nicht an. Also blieb nur Fax. Einen Fax-Emoji gibt es auch noch: 📠

Update: zumindest alle für mich relevanten Funktionen laufen sehr gut auf dem Cubot Mini mit dem GSI. VoLTE oder VoWifi habe ich allerdings nicht getestet, letzteres soll laut den Angaben im Treble-Projekt zu dem Gerät wohl nicht funktionieren.

die für Jelly 2? ja, kann sein, jetzt nur mal ad hoc geschaut. - bei dem Jelly Star, auf dem das GSI-Build laufen soll, kommt auch im Laufe des Threads raus, das nur die eine Version von August 23 läuft, die aktuelleren Versionen dann aber nicht mehr (?) Sicher kein Anlass, sich direkt ein neues Gerät dafür zu kaufen
