This wasn’t just a bad facial recognition issue. During the photo lineup the detective intentionally used a many years old photograph of the victim that more closely matched the person in the surveillance video even though she had a current photo available. She also knew the woman in the surveillance video was definitely not 8 months pregnant, so it couldn’t possibly be the woman they identified, but she still arrested the victim anyway.
Yes the facial recognition gave a false positive but any reasonable person would recognize instantly that they had the wrong person. The detective was either incompetent or a liar.
He specifically said that he didn’t have the power to charge a sitting president but that if it were anyone else he would have been indicted already. All he could do was give congress the report and trust they’d do the right thing. Not only did those useless fucks not even read it, they lied and said it found no wrong doing.
There is a Psychic and Tarot card place in my town that I never see anyone going in or out of but always has at least two or three high end sports cars in the parking lot. Something is paying for those cars and it ain’t palm reading.
The same Bill Barr who told the country that the Mueller report completely exonerated Trump, giving the Republicans an excuse to not even read it? That Bill Barr?
That’s a Freakazoid! quote.
Fallout 3 running better on Android than it does on Win11.
This is how they always do it. Vehemently deny that he did it until the evidence is incontrovertible. Then do a complete 180 and say of course he did it but there’s nothing wrong with that.
And even if you have NSFW blurred and blocked it doesn’t block the community’s icon. So you won’t see the porn itself but you will see a big gaping anus in the thumbnail.
Agreed. I really don’t want porn communities in my feed. As far as I know the only way to block a community is to open the community then block it. It would be great if I could block it without having to open it in the first place.
I’ve acquired so many cats in my life completely by accident. One cat we adopted as a stray. She wandered into our house one day and just made herself at home. We’d let her out but she’d come back every night. We eventually found her owners a year on the street next to ours and they were like “Well, she could have come back any time but she clearly chose you guys so we’re cool if you want to keep her.” She had a litter of kittens before we got her fixed and we kept three of them. It started when I was in fourth grade and her last kitten passed away when I’d grown and left home. That one chance encounter gave me joy for nearly 15 years.
