Suck it up. You have to go back to wage slaving. That’s the irony of life. Everyone’s getting mad that they’re not the ones profiting off of this and coping by saying that the joke is getting stale.

Just stop fucking hating and be happy for the other person. If you’re pissed off, you have some serious introspection to do.

Man, I just find the whole thing unfunny, and it feels like some fake forced viral thing. No hate on her trying to capitalize on it, I just don’t find it funny and never did.

I don’t like that she’s turned a sex joke into a joke I have to hear my young nieces make…

People can hate on her for whatever reason they want, just because you enjoy her, doesn’t mean I have to.

Good on her for capitalising on it, but it’s not something I would like to associate my name to for my 15 minutes of fame.

She didn’t make a video and then hit the “instant global internet fame button” it’s just luck of the draw. Maybe consider limiting your nieces’ access to the internet because hawk tuah isn’t even the 10th worst thing they can find on youtube. It seems more to me that your siblings probably told you it was fine and you’re bitter they didn’t immediately stop your nieces from saying it.

That’s not Welch’s fault though? You can obviously have concern about your nieces making that joke, but don’t act like there aren’t many other internet memes out there that are just as bad. It’s on the parents to police the content that your nieces are consuming.

Sure you can hate, but that speaks volumes on you rather than the person you’re hating on.

Look I don’t care enough about this to argue with you, I don’t like her and it’s fine, it doesn’t affect your ability to like her, that’s your jam and that’s cool.

Sure you can hate, but that speaks volumes on you rather than the person you’re hating on.

        Right back at ya bud.

…And how old are your young nieces, exactly? Because my bet is that they’re around 13-16, which is riiiiiiiiiiiiight about the age where I would expect kids to start being really interested in sex.

It’s so weird to me that people entirely forget what they were like when they were young, and get so puritanical as adults. I still remember what I was like when I first hit sexual awareness and interest as a child (and it was a lot younger than most people are comfortable admitting!), and that was, um, >30 years ago. Maybe it’s just because we get deeply uncomfortable with idea of children having their own sexual life and desires in the US?

I didn’t realize she was still enjoying her 30 seconds of fame. Good for her, I guess

She’s funny as hell. I chuckle at everything that comes out of her mouth. Too bad she’s completely talentless in all other departments.

Seriously stop putting her on stage, she can’t sing. Stop it.

I didn’t realize she was getting a lot of hate, but I guess it doesn’t surprise me.

We’re all hustling to make ends meet. She’s doing her thing trying to get by like the rest of us. There’s no shame in that.
