      True. I’m from a place where it’s almost equally like to be a form of affection as gentle derision for blokes in particular. But I thought it better to CW it anyway and his use of it is definitely more in the vein of it’s misogynistic legacy.

    • I’d even say in the US in the last decade or so it’s become a lot more acceptable. My friends say it all the time, and they’re not the type to casually say slurs. Older people definitely don’t say it often though.
