“No one owes you anything” mfs really do think they’re entitled to charity from people who have much less than them.

The rich really are the biggest, most unapologetic charity cases on earth.

Is this the guy who is friends with Newsom and he got a carve out in the fast food minimum wage bill to exclude Panera as a “fast food” place cuz it sells fresh bread?

Have the shareholders asked why any worker would give a single rats fuck about why the worker should want to make money for them?

Yeah you’re joking sure but anyway if they think of workers at all it’s in the abstract, a productivity-to-cost-ratio-math problem. But business school only taught em how ta do them zero-sum “equations.”

I’ve had the displeasure of overhearing some of rich people’s conversations. Behind closed doors they hate having to hire people at all and look forward to the days work just does itself.

When brought up what will happen to workers, well first in the short term its telling them to all learn trades, but their ideal future is everyone is their own business owner. I noticed for and more ads saying how it’ll be great for “your business”. Us yucky poors go and run businesses they don’t want to run like plumbing, HVAC, restaurants, etc while billionaire nepo babies can be busy having fun in Hollywood.

They kind of want communism, but of course on their terms. No classes exist because everyone is a capitalist.

It’s already happened but mark my words, propaganda that workers are the lazy mooches of society and people should start their own businesses is going to ramp up real fast soon.

I don’t understand what part of his question is a joke. It’s a pretty straightforward thought

I kinda phrased that poor. I meant more like:

"i get that you already know this so I’m not arguing/explaining but but i still wanna comment so [say their point but different]

You’d think capitalists would know this already, since the core of their ideology is “everyone is only out for themselves.”

That’s something that always drove me bananas. Like their whole ideology is selfishness and streamlining and cutting corners and shirking responsibility. Then they piss and moan about “quiet quitting” or “loyalty” or whatever. Fuck you, you got the world you wanted, this is what it looks like you myopic rich fucks.

Those employees are LAZY! Trying to Support yourself or a Family is INFINITELY LESS VALUABLE then making sure a Rich Person can buy a New CAR!

Starbucks sucks of course, but they are at least smart to make their wageslaves “Partners” with small amount of stock. I’m sure it’s peanuts and doesn’t really help them, but I’m sure it convinced a few thousand people to want to work in the company and see it succeed.

To support your point, I did five years in the Starbucks mines and I do have a “future roast 401k” account with a few thousand (that I never contributed to) in it, so yeah

It’s a nothing-burger really. He was agreeing with the voiced anger of workers on tiktok etc, but he offered nothing of note (besides linkdin copypasta). “Offers challenges to management to incentivize workers” (or close, i ain’t quotin’ that chump)

It doesn’t sound like he’s judging the workers, if that’s what you mean. It’s probably not something obvious like wages and healthcare, but I’m guessing he was setting talking about some HR initiative to improve morale. Management isn’t yet dumb enough to think people do it for the love of the game lol.

Nah, he’s got it wrong, I DO care. I care enough that if my bosses are shitheads and don’t treat me well, I will work tirelessly to undermine the value of the company.
