    The problem caused by these violations of the German Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz) prohibiting labour for persons under the age of 18 was solved by a decree on 1 September 1941 calling the provisions inapplicable to Polish children.

    Interestingly similar to how modern laws also get ignored for more favorable interpretations or being reduced in scope for convenience, such as that advisor to Trump suggesting bombing refugees before they got into American waters because they would be protected under American law, or why Guantanamo bay can’t be moved back home.
