I am a Middle Eastern trans guy who is also a baby leftist. Checked this instance to see what the fuss was about but quickly realized it’s the most trans positive space I’ve seen. In a lot of trans spaces I encounter an exaggerated focus on white trans people in the West and disregard for others, so I was very moved by how little of that behaviour seems to be here. With the site I’m having a problem where I can’t see most posts when logged in. For example when not logged in I can see all the threads in this community but while logged in I can only see two threads. The “next” button is there but the other pages just say “no posts”. Checked settings to make sure I didn’t deselect Undetermined. Using Firefox on mobile if it’s helpful. I like exercising(sadly don’t look like Chad yet), horror media and gaming. I also think this is one of the best trans positive forum thing that’s not exclusively for trans people. Around when we were founded, everyone who had a problem with trans people being loud and open got banned, and it’s been chill since then. We do kinda have the problem of an over representation of trans women to trans guys, but I don’t think we’re too obnoxious with that or anything.I’m not sure what’s causing your issue, but I also use mobile Firefox and it works fine, so it should be possible to fix. Maybe clear cookies and cache, and then login again?
Thank you for the very good suggestion(half of Lemmy problems genuinely seem to be cookies) but turns out it was a language issue. I deselected and reselected Undetermined and now it works for some reason. Also thanks to everyone who tried to help.
Hexbear is on English by default I think.
Welcome, I had a similar problem when I started. Make sure you have both “undetermined” and “English” selected as languages, this may help.

I’m not sure what’s going on with the posts. My only guess would be something to do with what comms you’re subscrbed to.
Your default is probably set to “subscribed” and since you aren’t subscribed to that many comms yet it’s only showing a couple of posts.

You should check these buttons from the front page, local is just hexbear, subscribed is a subset, all is the rest of the federated stuff
Welcome! I am intrigued by your username. Is the eating or the kebab epic? What makes a kebab epic for you? Any favorite epic meal memories that you treasure?
I meant it as the Kebab Eater himself is epic(eats legendary amounts) but in my opinion kebab is epic too. In traditional restaurants you do pay a lot of money for a huge plate, the kebab itself is prepared in an actual stone oven which affects taste. You are also offered some mid-sized plates of side dishes so you’ll be full to bursting. I often go to places like that when I’m proud of my achievement. Best memory is when I ate beyti (warning: it’s made of a lot of animal products and wikipedia has a pic) after a hard exam week, went home and immediately slept after getting in the bed.
