some of the romance options are hard to follow because it’s not clear who you’re trying to bang or what. I got frustrated with the ambiguity of all the regular party members so I banged the illithid. then the illithid made sure everyone else in the party saw and they all went
I was sort of trying to get with Gale but he only ever gave me a couple date scenes and then never brought it up again until Wyll danced with me. I told Gale I “picked him” when confronted but we still haven’t had any more dates past the second.
Then he got mad at me for accepting a devil deal in act three that I very explicitly turned down.

Hoping there are some better companions later because so far Shadowheart is the best by sheer virtue of not being utterly awful. Asterion and Gale are both super annoying (the former for being a a piece of shit, the latter for STOP EATING MY MAGIC ITEMS YOU FUCK) and Wyll is boring.

You can respec anyone anytime you want, so it’s pretty irrelevant. Just use characters you like. Also Halsin was only added late due to “fan-service”, hence the doubling up on the class.
You can, but you can’t change Astarion into a Dwarf or Shadowheart into a Half-Orc or whatever :(
