I’ve never played touhou so I’m looking at this like
rnHonestly, I have also never played Touhou and only know references to it through cultural osmosis. Therefore I shall explain:
- “WE ARE JAPANESE GOBLIN”, “Bad Apple”, and “Marisa Stole the Precious Thing” are all Touhou fan songs/videos (※“Bad Apple” is actually a theme from one of the games, but most people only know the fan version)
- Touhou Bunkachou ~ Shoot the Bullet. is the 9.5th official Touhou game. Touhou games are notable for basically all having really weird names to anybody who speaks English.
- The battle against Cirno in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is known for being ridiculously easy, since Cirno cannot hit you if you fly directly in front of her. This bug resulted in fans characterizing Cirno as being a baka baka, baka baka, baka baka
