So are all mordern AAA games that aren’t FromSoftware or big Nintento releases (other then Pokemon) just going to be glitch-filled messes from now on?
I don’t think there have been any in the last 10 years that haven’t been a complete mess on release.
if you count Baldur’s Gate 3 as AAA it’s pretty solid overall, but otherwise yeah. turns out doing a crunch and beating your devs doesnt translate into a solid game
BG3 is bugged to fuck. I know that because my husband has lost all progress on the entirety of the last act and it’s ruined his entire week.
In my experience its very solid, slightly falling apart in act 3 because that stuff wasnt playtested in early access for years.
Anyway that absolutely sucks for your husband I’ve dropped more than one game for massive progress loss
I fucking hate the video game industry, they treat their workers like shit.
I guess Larian has had some big hits but I have a hard time thinking of the weird little Divine Divinity studio as AAA.
