MGS5’s ideas about linguistic and cultural imperialism were less than half cooked by I think Kojima and his team were on to something.
Yeah the reveal of the linguistic imperialism theme was pretty cool and it just makes me sad that the game was so undercooked, it’s right in line with the rest of kojima’s style of “I just read some good shit and I’m gonna use it”
MGS5 was very rushed and undercooked in many aspects
Gameplay is excellent, storytelling is meh
We needa new tower of babel in order to seperate the inferior Angloids from real languages
we already have that, anglos almost never learn foreign languages
